  Week 11: The Fruit of the Spirit In our previous study we discussed who and what is the Holy Spirit and a few of the manifestations of the power of the Holy Spirit within our lives.   We briefly touched on the fruit of the spirit as evidence of the Holy Spirits presence in our lives, lets dive a bit deeper. Let’s actually begin by looking at what the absence of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life and what that would look like. In Galatians 5:19-21 Paul characterizes our sinful nature void of The Spirit, “ Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], 21 envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these.   Week 10: Who & What Is the Holy Spirit? Some of us are only familiar with the work of the Holy Spirit when it comes to the outward display of supernatural power, things like witnessing someone speak in tongues or perhaps prophesying. But the work of the Holy Spirit doesn’t just stop there and certainly isn’t limited to just what can be physically seen with the naked eye, let’s take a closer look at the Holy spirit in God’s word to gain understanding. First let’s define the Holy spirit. Simply put the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of God and He is God. In John 3:1-21 Jesus is speaking with one of the religious leaders named Nicodemus when Yahusha (Jesus) tells him that in order to see the kingdom of God one must be born again. “Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler (member of the Sanhedrin) among the Jews, 2 who came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi (Teacher), we know [without any doubt] that You have come from God as a teacher
